HIP HOP -from the streets of NYC to MTV, Hip Hop has become increasingly popular dance genre for all ages. Hip Hop evolved out of street and break dance moves and is characterized by its vigorous athletics and bouncy style. Classes are offered at graduated levels, beginner through advanced and touch on many of the popular styles including funk, pop and lock, and old school.
Hip Hop I-II-Must be enrolled in at least one ballet class per week. This class will introduce the basic fundamentals of hip hop. Class will include cardio warm up/stretching, progressions and basic combinations.
Hip Hop III-V-Placement in the intermediate and advanced level classes are at the recommendation of the faculty and/or directors. Pre-requisite of Hip Hop I/II and/or equivalent experience.
