Dress Code
All students that attend our Traditional 32 week classes are required to wear an embroidered NHAPA logo leotard and pink tights for class. The leotard for Youth Classes (Preschool up through Ballet/Jazz Combo) is a tank style. The camisole style leotard is for students attending either Ballet I and up or our Preteen/Teen classes. The only exception to this is for students attending our youth session-based classes such as Tiny Dancers where students should wear solid color leotard and pink tights (Boys-t shirt and sweatpants). Black or pink ballet skirts may be worn in class and black jazz pants may be worn for Jazz and Hip Hop classes.
Students will need appropriate shoes dependent upon the class in which they are enrolled.
Preschool, Primary I and II students will need both pink ballet slippers and beige tap shoes.Ballet/Jazz Basics and Combo classes will need pink ballet slippers and may elect to purchase tan jazz boots. Levels I and II will need pink ballet slippers, beige tap shoes or tan jazz boots. Hip Hop students will need black jazz sneakers. Level III and above will receive information in class as to the specifics of their attire.
We are happy to assist you at the front desk with your purchase during regular business hours. If, however, you need a specialty item or shoe sizing, please call ahead to ensure prompt service.
